The projectΠΡΑΞΕΔ ΕΤΟΣ ΑΩΟΘ΄

ΠΡΑΞΕΔ, “maker of sounds”, is the name under which Guillaume Milochau, sound and visual artist, plays his music.

One instrument: a modular synthesiser made only of Mutable Instruments modules. The practice was shaped over six months with Sarah Belle Reid: one piece a day, recorded in live conditions.

On stage, ΠΡΑΞΕΔ live adds video projection generated in real time.

Ἡ μουσικὴ σύστημά ἐστιν μεταγωγῆς.

Music is a transduction system: a protocol for transmitting signals at the edge of the perceptible.

The music is the information.

ΠΡΑΞΕΔ live is an audiovisual performance: modular synthesiser and field recording, reinterpreted at the end of the chain through granular synthesis, with video projection generated in real time.
